West Midlands Designer Makers will be on show at the London Craft Fair Origin, from 7 - 19 October 2008.  Look out for work by jeweller Yoko Izawa who combines colourful fine elastic knits with other materials to create her collection 'Veiled'.  First time exhibitors from the West Midlands include Will Evans, Amy Duggan, John Grayson, Isabella Hart, Esther Lord and Kathryn Partington. DMWM in collaboration with Craftspace has recently launched a handbook at the ‘Pushing Boundaries’ Symposium at Staffordshire University, 16 June 2007.

 

The handbook is intended to act as a continuation of support after the symposium for designer makers wishing to research into new ways to promote their work, practice and profile.
