Number 8 Call for Craft and Designer Makers

Number 8 Community Arts Centre in Pershore is calling for submissions from designer craft makers interested in exhibiting their work in 2010. Number 8 is a facility run by and for the benefit of the community of Pershore and District. Alongside a programme of film, theatre, dance and live events Number 8 also hosts a programme of designer craft exhibitions set within a coffee bar/gallery area.

 

It is the aim of the Number 8 gallery to promote high quality semi-professional and professional work from within and beyond the county of Worcestershire.  The Craft Cabinets at Number 8 provide the local crafts and designer makers an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work.

 

Number 8 programmes craft exhibitions every six weeks. and is calling for submissions from designer craft makers who wish to exhibit in 2010. In particular they are keen to confirm exhibitors for two slots in the New Year: Thurs 7 Jan - Wed 17 Feb and Thurs 18 Feb - Wed 31 March.

 

Artists are charged a fee of £60 for using the exhibition cabinets for a six week exhibition.  Any sales are subject to a 20% commission plus VAT.
