Alongside a programme of film, theatre, dance and live events Number 8 also hosts a programme of art and craft exhibitions set within a coffee bar/gallery area. It is the aim of the gallery to promote high quality semi-professional and professional visual art work from within and beyond the county of Worcestershire. The gallery space also provides the local amateur visual arts community with an opportunity to exhibit some of their work. Number 8 programmes art exhibitions every three weeks and craft exhibitions every six weeks. Number 8 is currently calling for submissions from artists and photographers and designer craft makers who wish to exhibit in 2011. Deadline for submissions for art exhibitions is 5 July 2010.
