Theo Moorman Trust for Weavers funding opportunity

The aim of the Theo Moorman Trust for Weavers is to enable weavers to enjoy artistic freedom in order to contribute to the development of the craft and the education of future craftspeople.

Grants are awarded to enable weavers to purchase special equipment to pursue their craft in a creative manner; to enjoy a sabbatical period to reassess the creative nature of their work; to undertake a specific project in furtherance of their craft; and to develop the craft in any way that the trustees think appropriate.

Applications are invited from weavers living and working in the UK for grants of between £500 and £5,000 for either capital or revenue purposes. Grants are normally made every two years in the spring of even years.

Those who have recently completed higher education need to have two years working experience before applying.
